Nobody uses dagger?

It seems the least useful weapon. What is the point of using this weapon when other methods does not need to stack a few hex to deal good damege?

there's 2 maces in game that apply confusion, mixed with the monk or hunter skill that applies pain (hunter skill applies bleeding, which the dagger skill also does so it's a bit redundant). the second and third dagger skills don't require you to be behind your target; just that the target has pain and confusion for their bonuses. the parry actually stuns your target too, so you can parry then position for a backstab.

Pain and Confusion have a long as ♥♥♥♥ duration, so if you run Rogue and Monk with one of the Confusion Maces and Manticore Dagger you can get yourself 2 parries and smack your target with Extreme Poison and Bleeding (and burning if you use your third unlock for Fire Infusion) and just walk away.

i dont like dagger, their range is too short. it's often difficult to land consecutive hits. Meanwhile there are better weapons to spend your time swinging with.

dude dagger backstab is amazing. Manticore dagger or even broadhead dagger are a 1hit DOT kill

I use Brand + Red Lady's Dagger with the skills Opportunist Strike, Puncture and Flash Onslaught.
