I use a few spells that are low cost and I've taken 20 mana, 40 mana you should still be ok but everything ove risnt worth it if you aren't going spellcaster.

Honestly you don't need much at all certain gear lowers mana costs and the one set the light mender set allows you to get to 100% mana cost reduction so there is that. Plus you get some mana for finishing your faction storyline as well as from some skills.

Thanks, but i don't know what is "much" because i have really no vision about mana cost in this game ^^. You think 40 mana is enough as the first said ?

Get +1 for now.

You can always come back once you've decided on how you're going to spend your x3 breakthroughs. Two of the disciplines give mana (+40, +15) so that changes your spend rates.

Also, early on HP + Stam are very useful for exploration / survival.

I am going full mage and I only took the minimum because I plan to get a decent amount of mana reduction gear.

You can always go back to add more mana but you cannot reverse it so start out small, then add more if you need it.
