Main Strategy:
Cast Blessed Boon.
Cast Runic Blade
Cast Runic Protection
Cast Runic Lantern

Empowered Runic Blade comes with Divine Lightning Imbue, main point of this is to skip Spell Infuse Light absorbing Blessed Boon. You can now cast Elemental Discharge at will, which has 10 second recast. Does lightning Damage. You also get to retain Blessed Boon with 100% uptime.

Lanterns will not be needed in this build. The weapon with Divine Light Imbue glows, along with a glowing backpack and Runic Lantern, it will be very bright everywhere you go.

Start the fight by casting Runic Trap. Sigil of wind as well if you plan on doing max damage to any difficult enemy or large group at once. Sigil of wind does have 100 second recast so be wary of the delay. Plan out the attack as needed. Cast Runic Lightning on enemy to draw them in, use Elemental Discharge as they get closer, if you're standing in the Sigil of wind, cast Mana push for a high impact lightning projectile. Close it up with Conjure which will cause a massive lightning strike centered on the Sigil of Wind, and if they aren't dead by then the Runic Trap should have taken effect. You don't need to swing your weapon, but with all of the running effects you should be able to put out some damage. If you are low on health, use Runic healing then recast runic protection as it consumes the effect. If you didn't use sigil of wind, mana push is still effective for knockback effect.

All runes have 2 second cooldown.
Mana Push: 15 second cooldown
Elemental Discharge: 10 second cooldown
Conjure: 8 second cooldown
Sigil of wind: 100 second cooldown

Cast any boons you need from your skills/magic menu. I didn't list any other boon above besides blessed but if you needed some extra magic resist for a particular fight, cast those as well.

100% mana cost reduction is achieved by using mage's tent when you rest. Although not required for most fights as it will take a lot of spell casts to get you to 0 mana.

Recomended food: Bread of the Wild, Marshmelon Tartine, Turmmip Potage

Testing will be needed for this build but the main thing I can think of is that with so much emphasis to empower lightning damage and creating so many spell centered on one attack, some creatures may be resistant to lightning, but if they deal any sort of lightning attacks you'll be immune anyway. Alternative to this is to get the sword Brand, or Skycrown mace which has decent frost damage. Cast cool boon, imbue frost spell from Kazite Spellsword skill line (not a a part of the build but pick it up for its synergy with brand/skycrown mace) Which is probably only for a handful of situations. Cast these from the skill/magic menu as they are just buffs anyway.
