How do you attach a lantern on a stick yo your backpack?

I see streamers running around with a lantern on a stick infront of them on a backpack. How do you do that?

You need a specific backpack - prospectors

most backpacks has the ability, once u have such a backpack just move your lantern into it! :)

I have the trading backpack, the 110 space one.

Only the Prospectors one comes with the stick, I have the trader one as well, it has bad lighting since the lantern is so close to the floor, but you can't change where on the backpack it goes.

The prospector backpack is the one with the stick holding the lantern out front. They can be found sometimes in Berg or Monsoon and always found in Levant. They cost 100 silver and have a 50lbs weight limit (if i'm remembering correctly)

like Calion said, you just have to make sure the lantern is inside your backpack and not your pockets.

yea you just need it in your bag's inventory, and you can turn it on and off with V.
