is there a recipe for Alchemy: Crystal Powder quest?
the reason I ask is I am trying not to use spoilers and use the online recipes, I am forcing myself to purchase them if I want to use them or figure out how to make stuff. I have explored a fair amount of the initial map and still haven't found any recipe for this quest. I am just wondering if there is even one in the game or did I miss something in the dialogue which tells you how to make it?

thanks,

you can grind Manacrystals in the Alchemy Kit. I think the Alchemist also mention it.

Yep, the Alchemist literally says how to craft it when you take the quest.

It's 4 x mana stones. She says this when you get the quest.

In this game quest givers often say useful things that don't show up in your quest journal, so be sure to read the text. In this case she tells you that you need to use manual recipe feature on an alchemy kit and combine 4 mana stones. You don't ever actually need to read recipes in this game, in fact if you don't you can sell them, you can always use the manual recipe feature to make something by guessing, reading the recipe online, or from what NPC's like this one tell you.

Really This, the Quest log is crap, I restarted mainly because of this and I am really trying to read everything they say and doing it asap. now the A. Station no where says you can make the dust, its a well let waste some mats to see I guess kind of thing, which is fine if you know this game is like Skyrim crafting when it come to some stuff trial/error, like when I wasted a couple crystals before I found this,

Now you put 4 in at once ? because I put 2 in and got nothing but a waste of hours of time looking for the damn things

You literally can buy or find a recipe for it.
Some items literally say what they are made of and you can get recipes this way too.

This quest did not say anything at all I have not seen the recipes or the item for sale, just the fact I used the 3 mana stones and wasted them kinda made me sour at the time

No, she doesn't. She says that mana crystals are needed for that but nothing more and also not how many. And trying any number but 4 mana stones just destroys them.

It feels really stupid that the person asking you to make something for her doesn't tell you how while being herself an expert at this. That's just bad game design.

Not really. It's you demanding being spoon fed and having your hand held in a game that was literally designed around no hand holding.
Theres always at *least* 1 vendor in all 4 cities and eventually all 5 that sell it. You can buy the recipe from nearly every alchemist, its appearance being rng. You can find it everywhere in the world. From mobs and chests.
And the game hints to you how to manually make them.
What more do you need????
Perhaps just going back to skyrim is more your speed.

Oh, and if you want a quicker source of mana stones, try dismantling the Mana Trogs Staff, it breaks down into three mana stones.

I quite like it that this game doesn't give you hints, or log everything in your journal.

Well, sometimes. It makes the dialogues with the NPCs more important, it means you spend a while searching for things (still can't find that recipie for mineral tea :) ), and I actually like mapping out the dungeons.

On the other hand, there seems to be a whole bunch of content that isn't hinted at at all... (Tsar Armour, Secret bosses, and so on.... ), and that I find rather annoying. Luckily that's all optional.

so cause the game doesnt outright tell you how things work PRECISELY for everything and anything its bad game design? do you know whats also bad game design? EXCESSIVE HANDHOLDING. thank god this game doesnt do that at all for once. too many games did that the past few years cause the mainstream morons cannot think themselfs and god forbid you have to figure something out yourself.

The game is just clunky and missing info, I played it for like 20 hours then uninstalled it, no hate just it feels 15 years old
