Runic Magic Worth it? if yes, what is the best build for it?
i am currently debating within myself if i should try and go on a runic build or a Bow, greataxe warrior build.... the warrior build is easy and strong to do but runic build sounds challenging and fun but i am not 100%.... please share me some knowledge

Runic magic is super useful, as any setup can use atleast 1 or both of its skills. You need to use a breakpoint though in order to gain some of the better combos such as the healing rune combo. Which is basically a life potion worth of healing. Or summon 2h sword is pretty good.

The dmg spells of runic magic are way useful for damn near everything so far that ive seen.

Is there a way to go hybrid with runic magic? or does it limit you?
I'm Hybrid, the only limit is it takes up to 2 or 4 of your hotkeys to work well, but very good for Hybrid play from my playstyle.

Yes. Put 1 point only into magic you then get +40 from rune magic get the tenebrius armor chest + boots the legendary lexicon in the first map and a mage tent... later on also the golden lich helm. So you ll sit at 30+10+10+15+15=80% mana reduction and will be able to use a single handed weapon like a mace... while having insanely high resistences to elements (expecially combined with boons) and 60+ physical resistance.

If you also get the light mender backpack you can get to 90% mana reduction with very good defensive stats (can take it to 100 if you also use a jade mace or sword).

I suggest you take shaman + rune mage + a warrior tree you like.

What makes you go for Shaman? I did Rune Mage/Monk then deciding on my 3rd. (Monk for the +40 Stamina and Discipline buff stuff)

What runes do you usually run on your bar? I was thinking on just keeping enough to cast buff up, and heal. And did the advanced runes thing instead of needing no lexicon. (got the lexicon from that cave I assume it helps somehow)

I am a full mage I use all the runes. I think shaman passive for boons is one of the best passive in the games once you have all the boons simply because there isn't much that increase elementar damage and that is a 10% more. I was theorycrafting an hybrid build I wanted to try on my next legacy. shaman + rune will oviously be the base for me. the 30% damage/resistence on boons as I was saying is just too good.

For an hybrid you'd need 3 runes if you don't plan to use it offensively. (or 2 if you don't want to use the lanthern).,,
But since I ll go for prefix instead of inner lexicon I think I d use all the 4 runes and just use the magic offensively aswell. Hell you could also use the red purple red purple and summon you the 39 damage full ethereal 2 handed sword and use the mist boon with the tenebrius armor and obtain a sword that deal 50+ ethereal damage.

Runic is by far the most powerful mage class. You can sling thunderbolts all day with that class. I highly suggest getting an armor set that give lots of magic reduction. (Like the armor of a god)
Where is this Tenebrius armor?

Crafted with 9 pieces of heckarite in laviant.
Ahhh cool man thanks, I been avoiding Levant for the time. Guess I'll head there soonish.

* Gold-Lich Helm (30% reduction)
* Gold-Lich Armor (20% reduction)
* Gold-Lich Boots (20% reduction)
* For weapons, you can either pick a 20% reduction staff, or a lexicon+jade weapon (25% reduction)
* Mage Backpack (10% reduction)

So you'll either have 100% or 105% depending on your build.
