anyone built a piece yet? im wondering on the stats

it sucks bananas. increases the damage for ethereal and poison damage by 5 for piece good elemental resistences... 10% mana reduction per piece.

So bad there isn't any spell in the game that deal ethereal nor poison damage... except the runic sword that you wont use anyways cause you are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mage.

agreed.. i shouldn't of spent my hard earned money on this. +5 resistances across the board isn't gona help me.
i should of read the notice on the hackmine.. its for mage gear . and i swing swords

It sucks also for mages.

the set is actually decently strong for melee if you're using the dreamer halberd
it's also a great set for the worldedge greataxe which has 13 physical 40 decay damage

The set is not bad for mages at all... decent physical protection and elemental protection all while giving less mana costs WITHOUT penalizing stam? That's great. Extra damage for ethereal doesn't just affect the runic sword, it also affects the runic mine you can place down, that does ethereal damage as well. If you go with the Runic Greatsword with the advanced rune combos it does really nice damage if you need to go melee for whatever reason.
