Local Coop Controller/Keyboard Setup
Just bought this game to play with my husband. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to figure out how we can actually play together.

How have others set up local coop?

We have stream controllers, and Xbox controller, keyboard and mouse. I’m just a little loss on how to set it up and I’d like to surprise him. All help is appreciated!

make a new game click 2 players connect keyboard and controller. the controller is for P2 and keyboard is P1

From the Devs:

Added a workaround to force all controllers to be assigned to the second player in split screen (for those having the issue of all controllers being assigned to player1). Player 1 will only have the Mouse and Keyboard. It is temporary while we make an actual menu for controller assignation. To toggle this workaround, add a txt file named "CONTROLLERP2.txt" in 'Outward_Data' which is Outward's install directory.

Im also trying to play with my girlfriend and I want to progress through her story so that she can really enjoy the game but she only wants to use the controller. I tried adding the CONTROLLERP2 but it didnt change anything. Please help

anyone could fix that problem? i ve recently download the game and i didnt test it yet but i would love to locally coop <3
