Internal Lexicon or Runic Prefix
Does any have experience with either of these skills? The benefits of Internal Lexicon are clear and I’ll likely choose this so I can wield a staff or torch (for flamethrower); before I lock myself in, how does Runic Prefix compare?

i think everyone is choosing runic prefix, there is a ¨special¨ lexicon in the game, and you will want to equip that. plus the runic prefix is pretty strong

Thanks, I think I'll hold off until I know more about this "special" lexicon.

The special lexicon gives you 15% mana reduction I believe.

The problem with Internalized Lexicon is that it sounds good in theory, but you still have to sheathe your weapon to cast the runes.

It's mostly good if you want to combine it with a specific off-hand, and no off-hand weapon requires unsheathing to be used, or you want to run around holding a specific 2 handed weapon for its looks and buffs.

So everyone's talking about a lexicon with 15% mana reduction. What would be that lexicons name? I even heard people saying that it was the Light Mender's Lexicon but I got that one and it only gives 5%.

Curently in the game Light mender lexicon is either nerfed or bugged and it only gives 5%' so its only plus is that 5%.
If you combine it with that sabre that you can get from blade dancers, you will get total of 15% reduction vs staff that can reduce up to 20%.

Also rune magic can be OP, so if you don't want to rolfstomp all the enemies in the game you might consider putting on some limitation on yourself.

I took runic prefix and use standard lexicon: tenebrous armour and the mana regen skill make for more efficiency than I need, while swapping in weapons via the hotkeys as needed
