The altar corruption (spoilers inside)

Hello all! So I'm at this part where I'm told to sacrifice some of my stamina on the altar in the corrupted tombs. I've gained the passives of "sacrifice" and "painful sacrifice" but I can't seem to do anything to finish the quest. What is supposed to happen here? I keep interacting with the altar but it just says agony rips through me and then nothing happens. What gives? Thanks.

Answer: alright, so I talked to a dev and is indeed a bug, the green explosion was supposed to knock your character out. So what you have to do is go near the altar, bring up the pause menu and press Shift + Alt + U. Then a death symbol will appear on your screen. Press it, and when you wake up the event is complete. alright, so I talked to a dev and is indeed a bug, the green explosion was supposed to knock your character out. So what you have to do is go near the altar, bring up the pause menu and press Shift + Alt + U. Then a death symbol will appear on your screen. Press it, and when you wake up the event is complete. It should have, it worked for me. Did you make sure to bring up the pause menu?

anyone with the same problem its really easy . after you give your stamina you just kill your character and you complete the quest

My question is after you suicide which does complete the quest.


HOW AND WHY DO I need to lose 19 stamina perm. I'm literally down to 56 max stam which is horrible to play with even for a mostly mage char.

I talked to a dev and he said that is a bug and they are working on a fix.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS did not think playing with my coop friend would break the quests but atleast when i kicked him paused the game & did what u said fixed it <3

You guys are very welcome. They are planning to fix this in a patch and also remove the 2 passives of "sacrifices" as there's only supposed to be 1.

It says "it does nothing" for me when i interact with the corruption on the alter. What happens if you kill the skeleton?
