Right. I covered that they're not too hard to get. The main drawback with them is that they're heavy if you want a decent supply. The way I've been playing so far, they seem to be perfect to pull out for a tough fight where you want to be mobile, where two spell casts could be trouble. And extremely powerful so perhaps boss fights. Or whatever you want to consider a "boss" in this game.
I think if they improved their range dramatically (almost as much as bows) then chakram would be more viable.
Ummm, they are. You can get some in the first dungeon. And in the Magic Mountain. You can mine em, or sometimes the enemy will drop them, sometimes they'll even drop magic stones that will give you a bunch if you deconstruct.
Thick Oil you can get from enemies, junk piles, or by mining iron veins, in multiple caves.
I'm sorry you're mad, but it's really not that hard.
Personally, i've only ever needed 10 or so Fire stones at any time. Also, reconsider Flamethrower, it doesnt do much damage, but it has Damage over Time, which is god tier if you have enough stamina to block.
I don't know if they are or aren't I have a lot but no need for them so I don't know how fast I'd go through them, my only point was good post.
I've actually got the backpack you can craft from two scale leather and the starter pack. It holds 60 and doesn't slow your in combat rolling.
You make a point about only taking essentials. I disagree about taking wood though. There's wood everywhere and it's easy to get. You just have to punch a tree. Though I keep a habit of carrying one firewood kit at all times just in case I need to drop one in a dungeon.
Thing is I also take a cooking pot and an alchemist kit. I consider them essential and they've come in handy quite a bit. I just wish there were a lighter weight version of them somewhere.
I need to stop over-carrying junk and just get rid of everything I could not literally use right away.
Basically, you use Reveal Soul near a dead human and a blue orb of light appears, then use Spark to gain some Mana back.
I chose Fire Sigil by mistake.. is there any way I can also get reveal soul further in the game from another npc?
nah it's fine, top left of the first map is some cabal wind alter, near there is a shaman trainer who teaches reveal soul without needing a breakthrough. you will need to go through the fort "ghost pass" and there are a few ghosts in there but at the start there are some etherial vanishes.
