enemy of the scourge?

So im at monsoon town or whatever, and the game is telling me to join the holy order. Only issue i have with that is that its highlighted in bright blue letters that "you will forever be an enemy to the scourge". That seems like a bit of foreshadowing to me that joining the holy order would take away a potential option to work with or cooperate with the scourge. I know there was an immaculate that saved my life multiple times when I died and he seemed way more interesting than the holy order. Anyone had any luck with working with the immaculate/scourge or no?

Not really, you only meet the Dreamer as a scourge NPC. You get more background info during the Ash giants quest.
Other than that, you don't get an option to work with the scourge.

The thing it's refering is that you won't be able to get the Dreamer halberd after joining the Holy mission so get it before joining
