Turn YOUR prison into THEIR prison. Lock them up and tie them up in the basement
Then use the big club in the guards butt. Thats what I did... he definitely wont be messing with me anymore
Right? When i picked up my gear i was expecting to get curb stomped but nothing. Pay no attention to the mage with the giant glowing staff.
1 - Outside main entrance shield guy. I climbed up on the nearby rock formation with my bow and shot him to death. He can't reach you.
2 - After entering, do not talk to the guy on the left. He will immediately imprison you. Talk to the 2 guards on the right, and select kill them.
3 - After the above, there are 2 bosses with 2-3 henchmen. You will know when you see them....they only become hostile after talking to them.
4 - 1 boss is melee. After talking to him, immediately run back to narrow passageway you came from. I used a damage potion and a fire rag. The narrow passageway makes it easier to handle him or his henchmen. I managed to kill him shortly after 1 of his goons reach him.
5 - The other boss is a caster. Repeat what you did above...kite them back to the "elevator" area you came from, boss cannot aim you properly due to line of sight. Kill the goons that come after you, they are easy. Melee rush the caster boss after.
All other NPCs in there that I found, are non hostile. There is also an ornate chest locked behind pulley rings puzzle. I have not figured it out yet.....fail and it will drop you into a pit leading to a lair belonging to those glowy spear mushroom guys.
You can also lay traps around the place and they won't stop you.
I have walked by the 1 wendigo corpse I ended up killing (with obvious help of wandering bandits) on day 3 sooo many times, and even the shrimps on the coastline through the storage path are still there, they spawn from the distance but just drop to the ground dead when I get closer.
Vendeval just became my #1 pre-faction trade route. I hope I can keep trading with the nurse after the mission where you can befriend the warlords!
There's 2 things going on in this dungeon. On the one hand is the quest to kill the warlord (Crock -the armored guy with a club - being one of them). On the other hand is a sort of mini-quest thing where you can become a prisoner and do some various things to escape, and potentially unlock a skill, etc.
