I mean whether it's intended or not it is sorta stupid to create a co-op game where the second player feels left out. I enjoy the game a lot and we can sorta deal w/ it because I play with the same person but it's not the greatest solution to this sort of thing.
Okay.
1) Are you playing this in MP?
2) Are you joining other player's games?
3) If you are going to answer yes to questions 1) & 2)... Why are you doing it?
Yeah so far when I've played with a friend locally, it seems literally the only thing you don't get are a small handful of freebies. Everything else you keep, and can bring back to your other game to play solo on your own.
Just BE SURE to create a new character of your own BEFORE starting a co-op game. Any new character created in the middle of an active single player game (via the "split screen" menu option) starts naked with exactly 27 silver and no other gear whatsoever.
If I understand you well, you think it's more player skillbased than stat based? I know it may be too premature... But I like most concepts behind Outward, but too many Coop games claim they are tailored for it... While making some players "2nd class". IMHO every1 deserves their 15m of fame and doesn't want to feel "dragged" by powerfull characters all the time.
Thats actually pretty sad. I guess its a no go for me, its not a true coop then.
