Advice on Mana regen?
Love the games magic system, really dont like the mana regen system. I wanted to know if anyone knows where else I can get the spell to sap mana from dead souls after I already have spark? Also, tips and tricks to regen mana other than mana potions because expensive.

- You can go to Moonson in Hallowed Marsh to get a passive skill that grants you mana regeneration (it costs 500 silver) (you get it with the philosopher trainer)

- You can sleep to regain mana, but this will reduce your maximum mana, but this reduce has a cap. For me my maximum mana doesnt fall below 100 (the maximum mana then will regenerate very slowly)

Thank you so much! Mana regen will make things so much better.

the monsoon trainer mana regen is THE breakthrough or right after... so u will need to use 1 of 3 breakthrough points to get it. just food for thought. i really want it but between gold and breakthrough i dont know enough yet if i want to bite down on it

so your max mana doesn't go below 100, but what is your actual max mana? mine is only 80 right now and I'm trying to determine how much I'll lose when I sleep

You lose a decent amount per hour rested but it caps at half your true maximum.

If you lack sleep you'll start regenerating mana but it reduces your stamina regeneration

you can get the reap soul spell from the hermit at the hermits tower next to the wind totem. but you have to pay for it
mana can be reduced to half your max by sleeping but never past that, cooking foods with things like turmmips give you mana regen but the best option besides going with the trainer in monsoon is to just brew astral potions, they''re easy to get ingredients for and restore a decent amount of mana instantly

The skill that gives mana regen in Monsoon is the breakthrough skill, which means that it has a hefty opportunity cost. Make sure you know what you are giving up before you take it... If you don't use Chakrams it might not be worth it.

Eating a regular diet of fish is probably a better bet.

I've just finished a run as a ritual mage/pistoleer.

I got the mana regen skill, and never ate fish or turnips again. I think I used 2 mana potions over the rest of the storyline. I never did get the hang of chakrams. Before I got the ritual magic sorted, I was using Flamethrower and a Brutal axe.

I chose the merc tree in Levant (for pistol skills and sprint bonuses) the ritual magic tree (for the runes and abilities therof), and the chakram tree (because I though they'd be more useful, and the mana regen).

This game DOES have a mechanics if which skill trees to go for....

mana potions are expensive seriously? the turmmips can be found all over the mountain and the star mushrooms frequently grow in caves, also if you buy the ingredients from any alchemist turn it into potions you can boost a profit since you get 3 potions.

Reveal Soul + Spark is insanely good. I'm fairly certain you can go back to Conflux and pick up any spells you might've missed. I wouldn't play a caster without it, personally.

Aside from the obvious answer of potions and food, Plant tents are a great efficient way to safely recover hp/mana. Also you get a fancy purple Mage-tent from the story(and I think vendors?) that buffs your mana regen.

To the best of my knowledge, you cannot get the other spell from Conflux. I did try it, but the option didn't seem to be there...
