Mana Channeling - How much mana should I get?
Finally reached the heart of the mountain. Faced w/ a decision where I have to sacrifice stamina and hp for mana.

So my question is how much mana should I get / how much hp/stamina should I sacrifice for it?

Is mana / magic good for everyone? I mean everyone in the sense that any "build" can use it? Is it worth? Thanks.

Only if you have the skills to use magic properly, otherwise getting mana early is kind of redundant.

If you get 500 silver, at the starting town there's a trainer that upgrades HP/SP/MP by +15 points, meaning you would get 15 mana without sacrificing it.

Uhh I think I missed this? Is this from the mask wearing japanese guy? 500 silver is alot tho I only have like.. 200 atm and I want to save it to buy a new backpack but god knows where I can find one (am still using the nomad one).

And if I do plan on using magic, how much mana is the best? I really don't want to get gimped for getting too much or getting too few.

I took 2 as it seemed like a good balance to use magic if I needed it, but not enough to lock me out of making a melee build.

As the other guy said, though, you can always go back for more later.

I was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and did 5 points of mana, so I'm just gonna live with it. Bonus is flamethrower is a fantastic spell and most everything I've fought so far.

So i was playing coop with a friend, he can put 13 points into mana and get 220 mana 85 health and 60 stam. i put 4 points in and got 80/80/80. anybody know what thats about? his points seem to get him much more mana and he has a higher cap of what he can spend. he also loses less health for the trade.

You get 20 mana for each 5 health and stamina sacrificed. But you can`t lower your stamina or health under 50. So, your friend learned "spellblade awakening" skills to get more of them. Strange what your friend got so little of mana. He should have 275 with that skills.
Probably better not to give too much of "mortal vitality" Before choising all your 3 breaktrough skills.

I did +3 and got the spell blade unlock, negating the -15 attribute loss.

1 point is enough even for a pure mage. This game magic is broken... you can easily get to 70+% mana reduction and later on you can get to 100% (without even using consumables).

Souls restore you mana... Guard on a tent restore you mana... astral potions are extreamly cheap... with the breakpoint of phylosophy skill tree you can get mana regen.

put 2 points if 1 is too heavy for you but don't go past that is useless.
