Traps - Can Your Own Traps Injure You?

If I were to put down a trap, and then accidentally stand on it, would it injure me?

I know there's an easy way to test this, but seeing how harsh this game is I'd rather not if I don't have to!

Well I tested it because why not. I can confirm that running over my own tripwire trap armed with a wooden spike did NOT injure me.

Wood ,Iron Scrap ,Iron Scrap ,Linen Cloth makes a trip wire going to need other items once you set down the wire to "trap" it
