Fast ways to amass bandages and potions in the beginning?

I find that while I'm getting better at combat I still need to heal far too often and the amount of linen I have gotten from fallen bandits and lootable containers is next to none. Are there any sure fire way to farm linen cloth to make bandages or a potion you can create to last longer and not need to heal after every second battle? I'm kind of riding the struggle bus here. :3

You can break down outfits for linen. There is also a health potion recipe you can make at an alchemy kit.

Well I was lucky that got one from a corpse in Blist Burrows.

I got by bandages from supply caches mostly. Also I make HP potions when possible.

Alchemist sells alchemy kit but it`s expensive, roughly 70 silver iirc
