protection = 1, 2.
Sword = 4, 2.
light = 3, 1.
land mine = 4,3.
Those are the 4 basic combos I found (not the advanced ones you unlock later). I didn't sytematically go through so I may have missed some. For example, I didn't figure one out that was anything like what I would describe as a thunderbolt (which I am sure you mean lightning bolt because thunder is a sound).
Here is what I managed to get together
Land mind: Red, Green
Summon Sword: Red, Purple
Light orb: Green, Blue
Protection: Blue, Purple
Hope this helps fix that situation just tested all 4 of these to double check btw
1. Runic Protection - Dez + Egoth
(Blue + Purple)
2. Runic Blade - Shim + Egoth
(Red + Purple)
3. Runic Lantern - Fal + Dez
(Green + Blue)
4. Runic Trap - Shim + Fal
(Red + Green)
After Unlocking Arcane Syntax:
After Casting Runic Protection
5. Runic Healing* - Egoth + Dez
(Purple + Blue)
After Casting Runic Blade
6. Great Runic Blade - Shim + Egoth
(Red + Purple)
After Casting Runic Lantern
7. Runic Lightning* - Fal + Shim
(Green + Red)
After Casting Runic Trap
8. Runic Blast - Shim + Shim
(Red + Red)
Note: Runic Blast detonates your trap manually. You DO NOT have to be standing on your trap to activate the spell. Use it on enemies that circle the trap, but don’t actually walk into it.
(I couldn’t find what the game calls the lightning I’m shooting out, so I put an asterisk)
it'd be about on par with the other spell schools in terms of variety.
