Strange Rusty Sword

Went to the top of the mountain where you get mana and found a weapon called Strange Rusty Sword.
Does anyone know if this comes up in a quest or is a useful item or something or can i sell it?

Haven't found anything about it yet either. Though who knows I might have literally passed by the place I am supposed to bring it but I had stashed it already... It might very well be in the desert considering it's in an area related to magic and the city which makes use of these really-profitable stones you can get while mining Mana say they are for use at the crafters there....

And no I haven't been there yet, I should probably bring it along with me if I do.

well when u have access to the dev menu it is named "broken crystal sword" so im pretty sure you can actually do something with that but i still have no idea what im gonna keep my eyes open and try a few things

Seen a Streamer find a Giant Garnet stone in the Mushroom cave near a dead giant maybe thats the item needet?

Stashed it, too, until I figure out what I'm supposed to do with it.

well maybe you can use the giant garnet stone for that in some way and also i havent found a way to use it in the desert yet

I belive the giant thing is just for selling.

When you say "crystal" it make me thing about the mana one, maybe combine with them?
