Is there any nudity in the game?
Hi I'm just curious if this game has any nudity.

Since split screen games are so rare now a days, me and my daughter play all our games together , she won't play anything single player. We don't have much of a library unfortunately

She's 8yrs but really smart for her age.

I don't mind mild violence (just nothing too much gore) and I don't care about language like bad words. She already heard em all but she knows not to speak like that.

Would you guys think this game is ok to play with a 8 yr old?

I haven't seen all of the stories yet, but so far there wasn't even any sexual references at all in the game, so I wouldn't worry about that too much.

I will say that the game can get pretty dark and scary, though. It's also really difficult (but might be easier in coop).

Thank you for replying.

Can I ask what do you mean dark and scary? Is it very satanic imagery? Or as in literally levels get dark and you hear sounds?

Some locations and enemies are fairly visually 'threatening', depending on your tastes(The Hive-Enemies in particular). Some Monsters in certain parts of the game could look off-putting, and there's a few instances in some places of blood, corpses(Nothing overly explicit for the most part, i think) and i am fairly certain there was one Bandit area with a hanged man. Nudity however...was no thing, as far as i can remember of the top of my head. Though i believe there was statues in the City in the desert that were fairly revealing, if not outright displaying nudity.

The game overall is fairly colorful and visually friendly, inviting even, mind you. But there's some stuff that is probably ill-suited for most 8 year olds, like the examples given above.
You know your daughter best, so just let me know if you need screenshots to make a judgement-call, i'll boot it up and see what i can provide.

No: dead people hanging from a noose = not child friendly
I think this game would probably be too difficult for her to play. this is coming from a father of 2 daughters. have you considered minecraft, lego worlds, disneyland adventures?
there's also little big planet, or Unravel for example.

Yes. Actually have all of these. She's bored of these now lol.

Thank all you guys for your input. I guess I'll have to play this one solo first and see.

maybe you should take your kids outside rather then putting them infront of the mind control frequency box

I understand my stepdaughter watches me and my wife play together.

There really isnt anything like nipples. Some weird statues but no actually nudity. No real sexual content at all from my experience. Ita kinda cartoony like its meant for kids.
Real janky though. Nothing actually scary.

The most revealing clothing is in the sand town with a dude in tight shorts. Hes a ken doll. Random npc. Attires appropriate there its hot.

We actually go hiking and bike riding alot, and have days we go to the park. We do tons of activities that are not video games, but like to enjoy a good game on days we cant go outside or just want to chill.

but thanks for assuming the worst before even getting the facts to make yourself out to be some white knight bestowing wisdom on me.

because I dont need my daughter seeing dongs hanging or any sexual content. Being exposed to sexual content before age 10 can really have some effect on your mind. I was only like 7 when i stumbled across, and Im not an idiot i know its affected me. so i try to do better for my kids.

if you feel different then hey more power to you, you parent the way you want, but I will do whats best for me and my kids

I remember going into a building, with an enemy called a shell horror. There was a dismembered corpse of a woman with no clothes. So there is nudity, you just need to look very hard for it.

It is actually a dark demonic game in parts. haha. Not like diablo level, but it has its moments depending on where you go. I was watching Aliens and Blade Runner at that age, various things I didn't understand, but I knew they were 'wrong.'

I think the game might appeal more to a son, and while there is some crazy stuff depicted (at times), I don't know if any of it falls into the 'you can't unsee it' level. I do agree with outdoor play haha, but outward is probably OK at least to try. If she seems disturbed by it, then stop. I don't think it's going to negatively impact her if you say she's OK with violence and the like. But she might not like it.

Edit: ooh, mild violence? Yea this has more than mild violence haha.
