Can you ride horses or other mounts?

The more time tha passes, the more excited I get about this game. But I'm very curious whether or not the devs have any plans to implement mounts or horses into the game - the locomotion system (the way characters move) seems very solid so far, and I feel like you guys could make a pretty nice riding system. Given that its an open world game, it'd be a nice touch!

We have no mounts and no plans to add them. If you could zip through the environment with your mount, then you wouldn't have the time to be hungry/thirsty/tired from your travels, or you wouldn't spend enough time outside to get cold or warm, etc.

Of course, if we had larger environments it wouldn't be as much of a problem, but we're a small team and we wanted smaller, hand crafted regions.

Maybe in a sequel though? Depends largely on budget and vision.

I understand completely, and I'm glad it's an intentional pacing decision.

I really hope this game does well enough to justify a sequel. I've spread the word as much as I can.
