Undercity Passage - Getting into Levant - Did I fail?

Hi, so I'm currently trying to get into Levant from the outside via the Undercity Passage.

Almost at the bottom of the cave there are two iron gates that can't be interacted with. One of them leads to the room into which you fall once you step on the collapsing wooden platforms inside a hallway a little further up.

However, I died to the enemies in that room the first time I fell down there safely without pulling the lever inside that room. Now the plattforms which prevented me from dying to fall damage before are gone so that I instantly die if I drop down again.
And, as said, the gates down below can't be opened.

Did I just fail to get through the Undercity Passage and now have to find another way? Or is it a bug that the plattforms don't reapear after I leave the Passage again?
Is there another way inside perhaps?

I may be wrong, but can't you just use the front gate to get into Levant? or is it some story thing that locks it? Thats how i go to Levant,.

If you go down the pit, try and hug the wall of the drop, I managed to break the fall that way when my friend rushed down and hit the ground screaming.


You can also use the debug to get down by being invincible, and just toggle it off.

It is related to a quest line, yes. At least I was told to use Undercity Passage.

You can also use the debug to get down by being invincible, and just toggle it off.

I guess it comes down to trial and error then to see if I manage the fall or end like your friend :D

Did you solve it? No, you can still fall and not die, just hug the wall very tight:D i did the same thing as you

just pull the lever again and the pit cover prevents falling

Yeah, I paused the game for a long while but after coming back I made it by hugging the wall while falling, it was actually pretty easy ^^

I was comming from the other side, trying to get to the side with the lever.
