Coop - Can't open connection here

Hi,

I wanted to start coop, as soon as I click "open game to friend" I get the message "can't open connection here" same happen for my coop partner.

Do we have to finish the first quest or so?

Connection cannot be opened here, how to fix? Do you have to progress further into the game?

I had to finish the first few minutes of the game. Until you leave the light tower and talked the the townspeople.

Check if both you and your friend have the same region set in Game Settings.
