Strange Rusted Sword

so i had the Rusted Sword but got killed by bandits and was taken to the prison camp (first area map), i tried fighting back and got killed, leading to me escaping the place due to someone named Gab, my backback was next to me but i lost the items in my pouch and the rusted sword was in my pouch, i didnt realize it until much later that i lost the sword, so IRL time almost 12 hours later (i think i dont remember as i was exploring the Holy knight area map) i realized i had lost the rusted sword, first thing i did was re check the mountain i found it (with it not being there), i then raided the bandit prison and opened the golden chest to find other items, so my question is since so much time has passed since i lost the Strange Rusted Sword is there a way to get it back?

not really unless you start a new character and run over their, grab it, and just give it your other character
