Talk to the pipe in Bandit Camp?

There's a bandit camp named Montcalm Clan Fort in Cheronese. I killed everyone there and did everything you can do. I watched a Youtube vid where the person walked up on top of a big rock there and talked to a pipe on the roof. Then they were able to get some loot in the building beside of that. But when I do that, I get no option to talk to the pipe. Anyone know how this works?

Hiya. They patched that back in May. You have to now get the 2 battery coil thing to get the backpack.

Got the coils. Now back at Montcalm Clan Fort and everything has respawned again. Oh well, time to clear the place out again and get that backpack.

You dont need to clear the whole camp. The building is to the left if you came in from Cierzo's direction/west side and you really only need to fight 2 guys (and possibly a Hyena) to get to it. Dude in the tent directly to the left and the guy in the house itself.

I was able to sneak in and out without alerting anyone. Just be patient with the guy in the building with the backpack. He will walk away eventually. Traded out my Trader backpack for 10 more weight and no movement penalty. Feeling awesome!

Yeah, it was sort of weird. I walked into the front entrance and the boss guy was waiting right there for me, the same place I had killed him before. I didn't feel like fighting him again, so I went back out and went in the side or back entrance. Just walked right to the building and unlocked the door with the coils and got my backpack.
