DEBUG mode not working

Hi bros does anybody have a issue where debug menus don't show up after adding "DEBUG.txt" over (C: > Program Files(x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > Outward > Outward_Data > DEBUG.txt) ?
None of the hotkeys seem to work ingame (F1, F2, etc)

I was playing with a friend and after a wipe I lost like >1K silver.
And I'm not feeling like farmming it all again you know...

Have you tried just doing Right Click > New > Text Document and called it just DEBUG (without typing DEBUG.txt), it's one of the things I know that caused issues if your Windows is set to automatically add the extension.

Basically if it does, when you type DEBUG.txt it'll actually be read by the game as "DEBUG.txt.txt" and thus it won't work.

Yeah you're right this worked.

Strange, I had to do a workaround to make 2 controller to work (adding another .txt) and that file had the same format as the invalid debug txt. *Shrugs*
