Also, you can restore burnt stamina without having to sleep by using certain items, such as drinking spicy tea. But there are many ways to go without sleeping because mages have to do that if they want to keep their mana reserves up. I'd recommend you find and purchase the passive skills that increase your health and stamina because those are very useful regardless of class.
I agree that resting to repair is a little cumbersome right now, even though it's a great idea. They will let you pay to repair any time you want at blacksmiths with an upcoming patch. I also agree that it would be nice to have a list of known recipes in the journal, but the other things you mention seem like more information than the character would reasonably have. If you really want to know and reference them while playing, I'd suggest bringing up the wiki on the Steam overlay browser.
@E Altar as you progress and visit new areas you'll begin to acquire Consumables that will assist you with HP/Stamina, Equipment with Defense/Stamina efficient/Movement attributes, and train skills that'll allowed you to stay active longer in between rest and move fast. Naturally your combat efficiency , ability to navigate, and general build path will have play a role in your characters overall endurance per travel.
The Overall handle on Stamina honestly is pretty fair if not broken as inevitably becomes less of an issue. Knowing when to drop you bag in fight helps, just carefully avoid attacks without dodging, using tea(Or other consumables) to restore burnt stamina and taking advantage training skills does help a lot which you'll learn of in the new area.
Most equipment you find can be scrap in crafting by selecting a single item you want to scrap in crafting .Most case I advise selling most of it if your able to haul it to the nearest merchant as like any game early income grind helps in the long run. Saving up and allowing you to purchase needed items on the fly. Almost every item in the game usually can be used for 2 things or more you can discover it or wiki it.(Also most recipes can easily be guess as they usually are near the same with other similar item types)
Item repair is a bit dodgy in current build. Of course if you are using the Beta build or upcoming patch all Blacksmiths will repair all items at once for a fee. Till then just manage yourself well and again as you progress there is a skill that may act as a remedy.
As for everything else, you just have to take it with a grain of salt. The aim of the game is pretty simple adventure with consequence of choice without having your hand held. Sprint/Dodge roll all over the place you may find yourself dealing fatigue earlier than expected Fight everything you see your gear will eventually break, use your items conservatively or you'll be visiting the shop every day to week(restock), die and you'll find your journey extended with possibility of hardship.
Before you obsessed over a super cool build travel outward first!
i title it as quality of life, it's verry much pet peves and small thing that slightly infuriate me
at least you have to regonize this one
the MAP: it's not detailed enougth to actualy be used as an irl map
but it doesn't have the gamy features either
of all the thing can we agree ? the map needs an upgrade
But I get you!
and why didn't you asked for marker on the map? WHY?
