Why can't i download the punkbuster on COD4? having issues with PunkBuster

So Iam having a Huge problem with Punkbuster since i buyed this game. I did a little research and it turns out i have to download from: http://www.punkbuster.com/or http://websec.evenbalance.com site. but in both i can't find COD4 links. and when i try to use the game folder's PBSetup file, I can't find the COD4 game.

Please help me!!! I've been trying play on a server and it keep kicking me because of the "no packet flow" error. And with a little research I need to use the PBSetup, but those forums are over 2 years old, with no help but you guys.

EDIT: oh yeah and i have Windows 8

No? Just play on non PB servers. Hopefully Activision will be porting COD4 over to VAC.

This is Activision we are talking about. they drop support for all of their previous games before Black ops.

Nope, all you need to do is find the old pb files they are out there somewhere.... O well looky here I found them I had to fight off a hord of rabie infested velociraptor's you owe me one :P

If PB is no longer supported I'm not sure you're supposed to be forcing the game to use it...

There are a lot of servers that will kick you for not having it. This guy that posted the video, saved my game.

OH NO, I can only download 25% of the COD4PBfiles and then it just stop downloading. I tried several times but it still failed. Maybe I have to search something about COD4 PB files and try wo download from somewhere else.

I've always hated punkbuster servers. Punkbuster kicks me randomly for doing nothing wrong every time. Always some error or false flag. Punkbuster should be banned from cod4. Server admins do such a better job of enforcing things in my experience.
