I have 545 gold. It's Spring. Yet, I can't build troops or ships or anything. Why? It tells I don't have sufficient funds. I have 545!

Really like this game and played quite a bit on the 700 scenario to learn. But going to the more complex 1000 scenario, it hangs after I end first turn. This happens with all 3 viking factions. I reinstalled - same problem. So I end first turn and it goes to the second screen where it rattles through the ai factions, but then the screen inviting me to take second turn doesnt come up. In fact the game is jammed and I can't exit to main menu or give any command. Year 1000 scenario looks really interesting. P...

I am having difficulty getting the game to accept my mouse clicks. For example, if there is an "X" in the upper right to close a screen I have to click several times to get it to take. My mouse works in other games and while doing other things on the computer. It is just this game that has a problem. When I try to use the mouse as I move over the button it changes color like it knows I am there, it just won't accept the click. In order to get it to work I have to click several times rapidly. Hi, just got this, learning the mechanics a bit... Sometimes when I raid I lose a bunch of ships even though the enemey territory has zero ships. I can't figure WHY am I losing those ships. Is it a storm? Were the ships breaking apart on rocks? Did enemy sneak in and steal them? WTF is going on here? Do you just have to plan that you will constantly lose ships for no ascertainable reason?...
