United Front With Squad 7 DLC not activating. Help
So I bought the DLC when I was already on chapter 7. I read on the wikis that this Extra Story actives after getting the HQ in Chapter 2. I played Chapter 2 again and nothing. Do I have to start a whole new game to get this extra story to activate?

Probably because it's not yet available? A captainless squad was the pre order dlc for the game.

Squad 7 will be available around 18 December
OH! hehe. Thanks. Ok, so buying it was just a pre order then. Thanks
To clarify, Squad 7 DLC was never a preorder for the steam version of the game. This DLC was available with the Memoir's from Battle Premium collector editions of the game - only available for the PS4, XB1, and Switch.

However the standard versions of the game (inc. Steam) all included the DLC A captainless Squad as a pre-purchase bonus.

DLC release dates.

The only ones left to be released now are Edy's Advance Ops on 4th dec, and United front with Squad 7 for those who didn't buy the premium edition.
Makes me wonder... if the 2 DLC's were only ever part of the "bundle" on consoles, if that was also the only market that would get the DLC's later on (e.g. those 2 DLC's will never show up on Steam because the collector edition was never on Steam)

Wondering this as I am very aware that those 2 DLC's are now released on consoles, but not on Steam. (SEGA does NOT help their own cause with their tweet wording though as THAT implies that EVERYONE should be getting the 2 DLC's)
dont wonder about it

Nope, they published a platform-agnostic DLC release schedule, according to which we should already have access to all DLCs:

than explain why they never came to PC only for consoles so far

Obviously because someone at SEGA messed up.

and why the have messed it up a second time
Players waiting for the Edy DLC since 15 Days by now no Official Statement or explaination why its been delayed.

I totally agree that what they're doing right now is utterly unacceptable, but somebody messing up big time still seems much more likely than the company lying deliberately about product properties, because ... you know: Most countries they sell to have laws against that.
What? This thread is totally misleading.

A United Front with Squad 7 is not released yet since it's delayed for unknown reasons, so you couldn't have possibly bought it.

You could have bought another of the DLC, in which case, not all of the DLC unlock at the same point in the game. Only Squad 7 and Edy DLC unlock at chapter 2, then the others unlock at chapter 10 or after beating the game depending on which one you're talking about.
