Sega has already removed Denuvo from several pc titles, such as Yakuza 0 and Sonic Mania. I know Denuvo isn't the worst form of DRM, but it would make this pc port better for obvious reasons.
Again what i can stress is Denuvo is software and any software regardless of what it does if its implemented poorly its gonna cause issues. Its why Sonic Mania had so many issues because Denuvo was added as an afterthought.
Captain Obvious & Captain Wikipedia believe otherwise.
DRM = Digital Rights Management = Anti piracy
Also denuvo can't tell if the game is cracked or not so it doesn't 'make cracked games have worse performance'
You're talking a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when you know nothing about what's going on
Denuvo games are validated through Denuvo servers, and you're kicked out of your games by Denuvo, not any DRM that Denuvo is protecting. There are games on the Epic store that run without the client but still require Denuvo activation. If it looks like DRM, smells like DRM, and acts like DRM, then it's DRM.

"Application License Management
Our technology controls and restricts usage of copyrighted works and games. With the unique anti-piracy solution for commercial Windows Applications, for B2B software, the technology features comprehensive license management capabilities for any application.
With all digital licenses handled globally via hosted secure software and a web Application (SaaS), it frees developers from complex software and hardware management."
That's straight from Denovo's website. Denuvo is, has always been, and always will be DRM.
Denuvo validation needs Denuvo servers. The second Denuvo stops those servers or they have any issues with them the DRM locks every game with Denuvo in it. Now that may not be a problem now but a few years down the line it might(and considering how quickly Denuvo gets breached its more real than ever) become a problem. The big difference is that digging up code a few months after release to make a denuvo free version is far more easier than trying to find it 5-10 years later.
And lets not forget about the performance penalty denuvo brings with it. Which again punishes only the paying customer.
You could always get a good security software on your PC and just not have to worry about it. Haven't had an issue thanks to AVG.
