save doesn't work

When I hit save and it has multiple save slots, nothing I do will make a save. When I click on one or try and type it immediately leaves that screen, when I click at load screen nothing obviously there. Very annoying as I thought there would be a auto save at least and now going back in to game have to replay it.

Also the 'confirm' button the options are covered up and can't see them when asking me if I want to go to title screen.

I tried the game on a windows 10 computer and got the save to work but it won't on a windows 7.
