Malware
I had been playing Gia Beyond the last few day and today my Malware software triggered on the start of the game and it quarantines the main executable file... say it is detecting MachineLearning/Anomalous.96% I'm guessing it is a false positive...? Anyone have any ideas?

The game just ha an update. The update might be conflicting with your malware software. I at least assume that the game makers wouldn't infect their game with malware as that would hurt sales.

Hum ok... not sure what to do, guess I'll play with something else for now and hope it works itself out

I can promise you last update didn't contain any malware :D! But I'm still wondering why it detects anything at all.

antivirus software is illusion of safety, you should not blindly trust your favorite "absolutely completely free super antivirus" that mine crypto on your CPU.

Although "MachineLearning" kind of matches the game's topic, titanopteryx is right - a meta gag like this would not be the best marketing move.. ;)

I have been using MalwareBytes for a while now, not really blindly trusting it.... Just curious if this was happeneing to anyone else or if it was just my machine before I "blindly" run an executable being flagged.

I have re downloaded the executable and it is still doing it so I'm guessing its MalwareBytes issue.

Thanks for the replies!

It might not detect anything at all. Sometimes my antivirus program flags things as dangerous just because it doesn't have any information about it. If a computer program could be paranoid, my antivirus would be.

some "antivirus software" flag random files just to show, how hard it work and how usefull it is.
