Are the DLC characters good?

I'm playing over on gamespass and enjoying but I'm wondering about dipping on the game so I can get those two other characters... if they're worth it, that is?

Amir is decently strong on the "first" Manager. He's more of an early game crutch for new players than anything. His flight is gimmicky and not worth it.

The ninja girl is probably the best character. Four hearts and a free double jump with no real downside.
