My problem with wisdom path
Mb this question was asked, but i could not find an answer,so if you know it - pls link, ty.

I understand that it must be hard - no dmg, very careful etc, its fine with me, but why if smth just randomly touches the door, box, that stone thing that help to finish the path - its insta violence path, sometimes i didnt even touched it, but some pet or random bullet triggers it.
Is it supposed to be like that? or it gonna be changed?

It's supposed to be like that, wisdom is a lot better as you don't lose heart containers therefore it's a lot more difficult, and 99% of the time for me at least, i've been able to get to the crystal before its been shot and turned red, once you get used to it it will be a lot less common that they accidentally get shot.

It's just really badly designed like that, the way they describe it in game is like it's a choice between the two but if they intended it to be like this they should've made it sound more like a punishment than an option.

It adds challenge and makes it a lot more fun for me at least, removing this would make the game too easy imo, its not badly designed its just not for everyone, just like most things in life.

No no, they should not remove it.
I just think that me randomly shooting a projectile - it will ricochet into a barrel and explosion will transform widsom into violence.
I love that you have to play smartly to achieve the full bar of wisdom.
But those small details are just frustrating sometimes.

oh yea man, i think it could be a bit better eg: cant be affected by explosives (as much at least) and only be affected be direct contact and/or they have to be shot twice, small things like that would make it a bit easier (however on hard mode it should stay as it is now) this would make it more bearable for newer players

Removing it was not discussed here, just like others said, it's too easy to screw yourself up by projectiles hitting the crystals/doors. Some builds just... do it and you can not do anything against it if you don't have the crystals (and health) to just storm through the door and force your way to the crystal before starting the fight (and even then there are items which can screw you here)

I meant to say "removing this challenge" not just removing it, my bad

play experimental build, pets no longer trigger violence path on objects, only your bullets and enemies do and I think this is fine

There's no challenge in the way it's setup it's literally just chance if you can make it to the big crystal before an enemy shoots it that depends on where it is or where they spawn. Everyone improves their guns so they tend to have giant bullets as always so it can be nearly unavoidable with the weapon you have, all of these things should spawn in untargetable until a room is cleared. Nothing can hit them until they fade back in afterwards so anyone would be free to switch them to Violence if it's really supposed to be a choice in the game.

Yes, this i agree with. Or at least give it a few seconds of invulnerability at the start of the room.

If you walk into a room and as soon as you go through the door you stop moving you will be able to scout out the whole room without enemies spawning, if you look around for half a second and see a gem, run strait too it and don’t shoot, in 35 hours of playing they have been unfairly shot by enemies only 2 times for me. And no it’s not a waste of time doing that each room as you pretty much have to on hard and abyssal difficulty because of how strong everything is and you need to know the room layouts anyway

It’s defiantly not chance if they get shot, most of the time it will be you not being careful, and that’s the challenge.

What can I say except you've got more luck than me? I've done this exact same thing myself because I definitely only wanted wisdom in my runs as I needed to for repeated chances at Athenas token. Despite seeing a crystal across a room there's literally nothing you can do if it's too far and an enemy spawns directly beside it or on top of it, either they'll hit it trying to hit you or any one of the familiars you have may shoot at them and do so. Not counting the times the rooms will literally be too big for you to even see the entirety of it, yet these big noteworthy crystals aren't even given an icon on the overall map to check some how, so nothing can be done in that situation either which comes down to simply more luck if it was hit off screen or not.
