Cursed zeus question

Does that mean no shops when no tokens or faith value? or can I get to max faith and just not go to the room of the corresponding faith and have the value be reset next room? if shops aren't allowed then do I just need to get lucky in game rooms?

You have to beat HAL on Floor 6 with no tokens and the faith bar not started for either Ares or Athena. You can still go to either's room multiple times in a run, but when you go in to kill HAL you can't have a bar formed at all. It'll disappear after entering one of their rooms, so try and start forming the bar so it's ready on floor 6, then head into the Ares/Athena room right before fighting HAL.

You only need zero faith when you beat Hal to get to the Cursed Zeus floor. Once you're there, you can open the shop without losing the Cursed Zeus fight.

This seems to be an annoying and unneessary complicated requirement with 0 faith. Sometimes enemy activate one of the shards. Maybe you need to deactivate those in the upgrades
