Action Supremacist achievement

I've killed Argos without picking up any items or guns and I haven't got the achievement. I have picked pickups (coins/hearts/shields... not the infinite key though) but I don't think those count, right?

Is it possible the achievement is bugged? It could also be that I did it using Lucas, which already starts with an item and I need to do it with Wade/Anna instead.

the infinitie counts as a pickup item

but when i enter in arges room, there are 5 items i must choose in order to get the red coin so, that means i am already picked an item so it will not count ?

According to https://www.trueachievements.com/a303203/action-supremacist-achievement, it has to be done as Wade or Anna.

Argus is the floor 5 boss. Violence rooms have to do with Ares, who isn't relevant to this achievement.

Just got the acheivment with Wade, go easy mode, collect ton of gold for purchasing shield and eggs (for firepower). crystals, keys, and bomb are ok too.
