Some unfair randomness?
I like the game and the difficulty is good and fair, if you die it's your fault. So, the Devs did a pretty good job.

However, it happened to me more then once where I entered a room and an enemy spawned right next to me with really almost no chance to avoid his attack.

Also, it happened several times that this crystal-pillars which turn red on hit spawned right next to an enemy far away from me, so not possible to save it in time.

I think this two points should be addressed, other than that it's perfectly fine. As said, just my opinion and feeling ^^

This kind of thing is already starting to put me off. The piano room arcade thing can randomly decide to explode on use, meaning that not only do you lose the 15 coins, you just take a half heart of damage. This actually killed me on my 4th run. The cat pet is one of the worst things and I always hate seeing it. It literally runs up and takes heart pickups and converts them to moldy hearts. Moldy hearts are coinflips between giving you a full heart and damaging you for half a heart. Why? This means that theoretically you could lose a run because every heart pickup you need ends up damaging you, entirely because a random pet showed up and gave you a 50/50 chance of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you over.

Slot machine doors are also just a bad idea. In, let's say, BoI (I know, nothing at all in common with this game, they definitely didn't rip 80% of their ideas wholesale from Isaac) if you couldn't get into a room, the reason for that isn't because you opened the treasure room and the key got stuck in the lock and broke it. It's because you didn't have a key. If I have 999 coins in this game, that doesn't matter at all, the slot machine doors can still just say "eat ♥♥♥♥" and lock me out of a room on that floor. RNG is a great thing, but don't use it to arbitrarily kick the player in the teeth, because that's not difficulty, that's just stupid.

Same goes for certain chests, which are 50-50 to open (with money). Or that totem whatever thingy; why even bother if then enemies just shoot it without you being able to prevent it at all.

In any case, your last sentence is spot on. I was really looking forward to this game (provided they add and expand what was seen in the demo), but it has become more than clear that I've seen everything (except for horribly sad bugs) that the game has to offer. I've had enough runs end/ruined because the game said nop, im a hard gameeeee, you succckkk, go again.

Unfortunately devs seems to ignore or shrug off anything related to game balance and fairness.
I'll just drop these here:

Hitscan gun triggering rockets in my face:
https://streamable.com/0yjwfa

Undodgeable pattern from a standard position:
https://streamable.com/zcnyd9

Instant hit as soon as I enter a boss room, followed by a difficult to predict fast movement into my face:
https://streamable.com/xx2ojs

Boss stuck on animation frame and pretty much impossible to dodge:
https://streamable.com/edmm5a

I have even more where these came from.
This game did NOT have proper QA, and sadly I cannot recommend it to anyone, for reasons far beyond what I posted above.
Honestly, just a real shame.

I agree, it's such a shame that this game is riddled with bugs everywhere that just makes the player feel bad.

I had a similar problem as your first example when I used the gun that when charged shoots a frost grenade. Every time I aimed below myself, the grenade would instantly explode in my face. Also, in most games with charged weapons you want to charge the gun when moving between rooms. But this game instead force shoots your charge shot, which with this gun blows me up when changing rooms! I can understand the risk/reward for using explosive weapons but bugs shouldn't be the reason I'm dying.

I've noticed the same thing with undodgable laser patterns for the 5th boss. The first phase with the black eyes seems ok, but the silver ones in the second phase is rng with impossible to dodge laser grids.

Getting hit by the wheel boss feels unavoidable if you're coming in from the right side, I've entered the room and had the boss literally spawn on top of me!

It's strange to me that this is a full release and not early access. I really do hope the devs will spend the time to iron out all of these bugs that ruin an otherwise fun game.

for the second clip, it's on you , you had a safe spot on the upper right corner of the screen, why staying on the ground if you see it coming? x)

You can't go up to the top that quickly from that position.
Play the game a bit more to understand how its mechanics better.

The rng for the rooms is sometimes weird as well. I had to pay 1 key to get this at the end, wtf?!

You will think again when you have a pet that converts those hearts to shields :o

My current run on Level 3, room 3 has gotten me very little money and items. Worse now that I got the Trump pet that steals money! I have the starting weapon and 21 freaking eggs/pets (combined). I have the boss to fight but I'm at half a heart because the whole room 3 didn't give me any hearts lol!!!!

And dead :D

The RNG definitely needs tuning. The core gameplay is great! But, going entire floors without getting keys or bombs means you miss out on 90% of the loot. Not fun.

Or you get one run where the game gives you 5 extra jumps and then the next run you get not even a single additional jump item, which really sucks considering the platforming nature of the game. Or you get a bunch of items that say "when bombs explode, X happens" except you never find any bombs. The synergies that make games like Enter The Gungeon replayable and fun are either absent or don't quite work here.

Prime example: Explosions are powerful, but feel ridiculously punishing to your own character when you use certain guns. The gun "Judgement" (At least I think that's the name. Fires small lasers until it charges into one big green laser) will actually cause an explosion *on your character* if you don't fully commit to charging the laser while using the Popcorn buff. I lost a run that way because every time I fired the gun I had to either hold the button down for the entire sequence or I'd blow myself up. And in later levels, each explosion you cause on yourself is an entire heart gone.

Finally: The Grabber item. Yikes. Regardless of political stance, yikes.

I'm ok with the RNG. It just means I have to choose my items carefully. Monocles, for example, is great for getting lots of keys. Bombs could be had the same. The problem is finding the item/pet and then losing it all when you start a new level. I wish they allow some items to to kept whether it's random or you choosing.

Judgement should never be use with any explosive synergy (popcorn i.e.) Same for Giant Best which fires homing missiles. Very annoying and extremely dangerous. There's nothing like watching your death because your missiles turned on you lol And lastly, FrostFire weapon. That frost bomb sucks with multiple bullet synergies lol.

Edit: speaking keys, my run just now on first room gave me Hacking Tool and Rainbow Key... O.o
