same. very disappointing. this is 100% a controller game.
Thank you so much for your reports, we have passed this on to be looked into!

On startup, as soon as the game goes into the "press any button" screen, the application automatically minimises. When I open it again it won't accept any input and if I click on the screen, it minimises again. The sound still works while in that menu and the background is still animated, doesn't seem frozen.
I hope this helps, I want to support you guys and this game looks very interesting.
The aiming system is very different compared to The Binding of Isaac and it's better played with a mouse.
So two different issues here that have a workaround, but we are looking into:
When in-game, try unplugging and replugging your controller and retest.
Running the game as administrator should fix this issue.
Please do let us know if the workarounds are not working for you!

It's working! Cheers, the game is great.
The controller issue required me relaunch the game after unplugging/replugging the XB Elitev1 controller.
App not running issue was resolved for me by:
1. Rebooting since the app didnt want to let go.
2. Then running as Administrator until it accesses save data so you know you are "in". Somewhere in here it will ask for your XBL permissions which is a good sign.
3. Reboot again.
4. App runs normally.
