Bugs on Switch Version. Help please!
There are so many bugs in the Switch version.

I just beat the first dungeon and headed off to the swamp level and I am unable to get the mushroom at the temple even tho I talked to the father and daughter in town and Tygo in local coop. It doesnt let me acquire the mushroom or swamp boots. The completed tasks list that I already have the swamp boots and mushroom even tho I don't and so I'm basically stuck and cant progress much no matter what or where I go.

It wouldnt let me cross over my demo save file either. It just told me to reset and the same error happened again and again.

Sometimes characters would pickup items and the pickup command would linger on the screen or a bunch of items that I had yet to complete would be listed as done even tho I did NOT start the quest.

Hopefully u guys can address these items in a patch for the Switch. I was waiting for it this Friday but I guess the patch is for the PC versions only. I would love to continue playing. Please help.

I'm reallly...... starting to think they rushed this game out to call it good, collect some extra cash, and hope for the best????

We've encountered at least 1 room that has no exist, even when completed (green) there was no way out....

We had a puzzle that completed, made a sound, but door didn't open so we were stuck....

And all that aside, class balance seems REAL off.

I'm playing on Switch as well and have had a few issues that the recent patch for PC is supposed to address.

Unfortunately Nintendo has a process for accepting patches which often results in patches lagging behind the PC versions by days to weeks.

I know being patient sucks, but it is one of the few options we have.

I hope ur right and that we're able to receive it sooner. Havent heard from the developers on this but hopefully these are all addressed too. Thank u guys for replying.

We're aware of the issue with the demo saves, the team is working on this.
Can you please confirm whether you have the bottle in your inventory and how many hours you played in the demo?

The team is also aware of the issue with the mud boots, we've passed along your reports on this.

Please can you include any screenshots/images of issues in the dungeons so that the team can look further into this?

Yes, I have two bottles in my inventory, one bought in town and the other from the squirrel lady. The demo I played for at least 48 hours. I beat the dungeon and maxed most of my stats. I deleted the demo since it didn't load into the full game the day it came out.

I don't have any screenshots of the dungeons because I had to unplug my Switch in order to move forward and play the game.

Haven't been able to progress or do anything since then cause of the boots and or buggy completed to do list saying we completed quests when we didnt start or finish them.

Which quests are you having the issue with? Did you play online with anyone who had progressed further than you or completed the quests you're having issues with?

I already started a new game and its still the same outcome. I don't have online play but I do play with my boyfriend. The quests I have trouble with are the swamp boots and mushroom remedy even though the completed quests tell me that they have been completed. (ie: the dad thanking me for getting the medicine even tho the mushroom temple did NOT give me the mushroom)

When my bf isn't able to play, I play on my own and discover new items and quests by myself till he's able to join in but I don't see how that should affect the game cause the game allows you to explore and discover things and not lock you to just one area.

There is a sync issue with multiple players. You need to keep a solo save & a co-op save. Do not progress in a co-op save seperately as it causes progression bugs. Issues with the mud boots, compass, & lowering the lava quests are but a few examples. When playing together the worlds sometimes copy changed features from one another but don't always update quests correctly. This can cause you to be locked out of certain rewards or locations in the game.
I can give a more detailed explanation of things to avoid, but for now the easiest thing to do is have 2 seperate save files. One for solo & 1 for co-op, Make sure you & your bf do not explore/progress without each other in your co-op saves, or you will run into game breaking issues.
Some of these issues have already been patched on PC. But unfortunately many more need addressing & the Switch version is still waiting for it's first patch to drop.

Unfortunately I have run into quite a few progression issues several times playing co-op on the Switch. We can either wait for the updates that fix these to finally come rolling in. Or we can start from the beginning. After the 2nd dungeon you are ment to explore a forest to reach a Lava Lake. However you need a compass to get through the forest legit & bypassing the forest by swimming down the river will lock you out of getting the compass, disabling your ability to explore the forrest. By the lava lake are 3 buildings, each with 4 buttons that must be pressed. If any of these buildings have all 4 of their buttons pressed in solo, it copies their state into multiplay without updating the quest to press them. My world says 2 out of 3 complete, but all 3 buildings have been completed. As a result my lava never drains as it is supposed to. Cannot get through the lava lake to enter the 3rd dungeon.
Wait for an update or start again..?
Who knows how many more issues arise from advancing seperately. It seems you can either have a 100% solo experience, or a 100% co-op experience. But jumping between solo & co-op on the same character bugs all sorts of things.

I also recommend keeping exploring to a minimum. If a quest doesn't tell you to enter a new area. Do not enter it yet. There a several progression bugs associated with getting somewhere to early. For example, entering the Lava area by swimming instead of through the forrest with a compass, locks you out of getting the compass & also mud boots & other things too depending on how early you go there.

We (my Wife and I, Local Co Op) have a similar problem. We tend to explore the World in Games like this a lot, if someone say go East, we first check all other directions for Treasures and the like.
Now we are stuck and cannot complete "Explore the Swamps", the Guy in the South just says "hope you got the right Boots" or something on the lines. The father in the Clinic doesnt give us the Mushroom quests either (I googled how to progress after 5 Hours of running around). So what do we do to continiue our Playthrough? Is the switch version getting the latest Patch that supposedly fixes this exact problem anytime soon? Is there a Workaround?
Never touched Online play. Tried to do the quest with both Charackters in Solo Mode, doesnt work either.
I know this is the Steam Forum, not the Switch Forum, but i cant find any Infos online for this issue or where to look for Switch Patch notes / dates.

We really enjoyed this game so far together but that is kinda frustrating :)

O ok...then what do u suggest I do till then since I can't technically progress...I already started a new game and its still the same...
