To see what they are doing you need to go to the stickied post in general discussion that has the discord link to team 17 which should be the third stickied post here in general, then once on there discord click on rogue hero's in there list of games, then go to announcements to see what they are working on and the patch notes tab.
They tend to do the updates on discord and avoid posting here on steam.
If the devs aren't posting on the platform that they sell and distribute the game, they're completely wrong and I'm sure Steam would agree. They need to announce here, and on any other platform that they sell on. I don't follow the Discord of every game I like, because if I did, I'd get hundreds of mention notifications a day.
Thank you for the honest feedback, we are working on getting things more active on the channels!
Or at least if not all in the next big patch, that is what is currently being worked on.
Regardless, those upcoming updates do sound good. Thank you for that.
AKA, "We sold the game, now were working on another game, sorry scrubs. Welcome to the 2020's where you don't have to complete a game just hype it up and sell it then abandon.
Hi there, nope, not at all! We announced on the anniversary that there will be a big update soon with new classes, new dungeons, amongst other things. Keep an eye on the socials for more info, it'll be dropping soon :)
Enjoy all, we're super excited to bring this update to you soon, it's super fun (and having tried the Druid class, it's super fun to have a big group of squirrels running amok!)
Having said all that, some of the negative reviews and a lot of the recent threads in this forum are "the game is abandoned and dead and hasn't been updated". So whatever ease the developers might find with using Discord, it's hurting their sales and community. There are plenty of games that post small updates as Steam news (SPECIFICALLY to make a game seem alive), it doesn't need to be some huge formal patch note or published update.
