New Update

Hey, i'm just asking myself if i should buy this guy as it's in coop remote play and also in promo, buuuuuut i see the last update has been nearly 1 year ago and nothing since then, not even announcement or anything.
Is the game still in dev ?

The most negative reviews are because of bugs in Multiplayer. That's why I'm still hesitating to buy this game and recommend it to my friends.

I played the entire game with a friend and while there are some bugs it wasn't so bad we couldn't to finish the game.

The worse things we encountered from what I remember having to abandon a dungeon run twice:

The first time we got screwed by the random map generation because we dropped down a ledge and the way back was blocked by one of those random brewing station that can spawn in dungeons.

The second time was because the mage's blink can be janky and on some rare occasions get you inside a wall. Once inside the wall there's usually 2 outcomes; you automatically "slide" inside the wall into another room or you get stuck there. Thankfully, if you have someone else they can just change room to get you out but at that time my friend was dead so we were screwed once I got stuck in that wall and I think I even had to close the game because I couldn't do anything.

There were probably some other smaller bugs I'm forgetting about and I wish they balanced the classes better but overall we still had a lot of fun playing the game.

I have an issue in single player that nik just didnt appear so i cant get anything from him, hope it isnt important so i dont have to start over 💀

Hi. I'm playing with no issues except after the 1st bottle I've completed 2 more quests and it says I have 3 full bottles but only 1 works. There are not 3 in the inventory. Anyone?

i started playing about two months ago and i am addicted to this game.
the movements are really smooth and response time is quick to your controller (use a controller for more fun gameplay!)
there aren't many bugs, and for less than two dollars its totally worth it. i played coop with my friend and it is super fun from the moment you start the game. there's no complicated story, just zelda roguelike addictive fun.
i already bought two copies for nintendo switch as well and even got the bomber class DLC.
enjoy the game, there will not be any updates most likely but you dont want to miss out on this one.
its my fav game this year.

Thanks for sharing your experience you made with this game. Other people was complaining about game breaking bugs. Just check the reviews, this is worrying.

My friends and I have experienced A LOT of game breaking bugs. One issue is playing with someone that's at a different point in the game. If I join your game and I finished some quests, a lot of your chests will be open and items will be impossible to get, some quests will be impossible to complete. Teleportation is an issue too, where you're no longer able to reach certain areas in the game and go elsewhere instead.


That said, the game is good enough to be worth powering through. Just try to not progress in stories too much without your crew.

what are the multiplayer bugs? the only one i have found so far is that AIM doesn't seem to work for multiplayer except the host.

Teleporting to random places on the map, chests not open and quests not finished suddenly marked as finished, friend dying while holding someone else's skull causing the ghost to carry said third person's skull with no ability to drop, etc.

I've played it a few times with up to 4 people. We haven't really had too many issues and it's good fun. Thoroughly recommend it

Ever since the most recent update, multiplayer is unplayable after.... the first or second dunegon? when we try to make it to dungeon 3 we get teleported across the world to high level monsters. I reported the issue and they just give the same response every time "we are aware and working on the issue"
That response was last summer by the way. So reaching the 1 year mark.

Would not buy this game. They released a new update when they released on Nintendo Switch. Ever since they collected their Nintendo Switch check, I think they just gave up on the game.

If you play it solo- i tihnk you are good to go. If you want to play with friends, I would not bother.

If you play local using something like steam's remote play together or parsec, it's practically bug free. Unless your friend lives in another continent, go for it. No brainer for classic zelda enjoyers.

Multiplayer works just fine.
Just have a friend that live in the same time zone and there wont be any problems. Multiplayer with strangers is almost impossible due to lack of players or lag.
