Can we get a class ranking with suggestions for the devs to ballance them?
I think everyone who has played by now know some are REALLY underwhelming, and some are busted OP as hell. so lets start raking, rating, and naming the design problem with the classes to help the devs ballance.

lets start with the knight: it should NOT have both good attack AND defence. a bit of movement speed does not weigh up on both attack and defence being good, especially since movement is helped by the jump.
proposal: good defence, but nerf its attack. lower than the default hero.

thief: attack is WAY too low for what it gives up in defence. should be at least what knights attack is currently, possibly a bit higher. beyond that, actually fine.

anyone have experience with the magic classes?

This has been discussed quite a bit here and on their Discord.

The devs have themselves admitted that the classes are very unbalanced and they're being addressed.

We've also already improved the Mage and Witch, with some quality of life given to the Reaper, Warrior and Bomber Classes!

More info will come on the remaining classes, as well as how we're listening to your feedback soon :)

4 op knights and just rick roll everything (ps never nerf anything cause that is lame )

Thanks for the notes on the classes you think need buffing and which ones are too strong. We're going to take a bigger set of feedback on this tomorrow as we work on our next class balancing patch. You'll find changes to at least 4 classes in the patch this week which we'll start outlining in a post tomorrow. :)

What do you propose they do, buff every other class and all the monsters instead of dialing back one or two classes?

The knight is beyond broken, a nerf to its attack power should fix that.

Currently your party can go 4 knights and steam roll any dungeon. That isn't enjoyable.

The Knight is getting reductions in this patch. There's definitely a consensus that it's too strong. Here's the current patch notes related to the Knight for this week:

-Changed Knight stats (Reduced attack damage by 25%, increased ability cooldown from 1.5s to 3s, decreased stun duration by 25%)

We'll continue making adjustments as necessary but we're reducing them over time to not over swing on the changes.

RIP Knight :(
I know there were people on here asking for this, but I wonder how many people like me really enjoyed playing with the Knight as he was...
Guess I'll main either Pirate or Reaper now.

its ok i guess to nerf it, maybe buff the other classes and the monsters a tiny bit?
but knight is literally indestructible right now (it's fun and newb friendly and i dont think anyone will really complain since its PvE co-op)[aka the most fun game type]

that actually seems more fair because it keeps their 'hard to kill/tank' signature status intact

adding cooldown to their hop isnt a smart move to be fair. that way they are slower over lager distance, just either having them teleport after the party, of holding the party back over distance. 25% attack reduction still makes them have more attack than the base hero, correct? in which case its still broken.

I can see why you'd enjoy playing a class that has the best survivability, secondary ability, and attack power, but I'm sure why you could also see why they'd need to fix one class being the absolute best at everything except magic.

especially since magic and tools honestly arent nearly powerfull enough.
>places 8 100HP bombs next to friend playing knight
>he gets 8 damage.

I wonder how many people commenting on the Knight have actually gotten to the Endless Dungeon? Unless you go all in on health upgrades, you definitely aren't indestructible.

Personally I think the Knight should stay where they are and buff the damage from other sources. Maybe buff enemy hp scaling a little bit. But I'm clearly in the minority. Putting a bigger CD on leap is a really bad move though. If mage & rogue are buffed, there's almost no point to playing Knight period except co-op scenarios if the devs add more secondary functions to classes (IE: threat generation etc.).

If leap gets nerfed, run speed should be bumped up to normal.

Overall, I expect the progression for most people will be hero > knight for a minute > Reaper if they do the sidequest. Maybe Pirate for people that look up where the legendary fish are. Single player anyway.

I agree with this. He is too slow, they should leave the ability cooldown where it is and lower the iframes to a third of a second.
