Question

I started the game and read the guide page. However, after starting a new game I have no idea where the ship is. Pressing the Fleet button shows me I have a ship based at a star port but there is no launch button on this screen. Also I don't see the star port on the map so I can't click it. There is a question mark at the bottom of the map but it just moves around the screen when I try and click it. Basically, where the hell is my ship?

Hi,

sounds like you are stuck on the mission select screen, for the first mission look for the planet Neptune, the ? sign on the corner of the screen will guide you there, once there click on Neptune and the missions available on that site will show up, just hit launch and you thats it. On the next patch we will include some hints popups and a tutorial mission that will cover most of this things.
