The actual gameplay is a disaster. Sure, the animation effects are quite good, but that doesn't mean much when it's moving around so fast you can't tell what's going on. The UI is somehow downgraded from Alternative, and the sound keeps cutting in and out. No matter how good the story may be, the sound issue alone destroys the immersion. I only tried it as long as I did because it's Muv Luv, but no matter how much I love the series I can't keep playing when the sound issues detract from the dramatic moments, epic story, etc.
