Yeah there wasn't any voice acting because the Ace Attorney trilogy were originally a DS port of a GBA game. The series sadly hasn't evolved to do full on voice acting in any games yet. The closest it has ever gotten was a cross over game where the other side did have a lot more voice acting. Maybe when they announce the 7th game more voice acting might be a thing.
