As a self-proclaimed puzzle aficionado, I dove into Hexologic with high hopes and a sharpened mind. The game boasts a unique hexagonal twist on the classic Sudoku formula, and the visuals are as crisp and clean as a freshly ironed shirt.

But let’s talk about the challenge—or lack thereof. I breezed through the first 45 levels on normal mode in about 45 minutes. That’s right, one minute per level. I felt like I was on a leisurely stroll rather than navigating a brain-busting maze. So, I cranked up the difficulty to hard mode, expecting the mental equivalent of climbing Everest. Instead, I got a gentle incline, maybe a brisk walk up a hill.

Hexologic is a pleasant distraction, with charming aesthetics and a soothing vibe. But if you’re looking for a serious challenge, you might want to look elsewhere. It’s like ordering a ghost pepper and getting a bell pepper instead.

Still, it’s a fun little game to unwind with, and for that, I give it a solid 6/10.
