necktie base assault plan: understanding symbols
I’ve just gotten to the part of the game where you need to plan the assault on the necktie base, and something that’s bothered me for the entire game is finally making it really difficult for me to do this properly: they only use symbols to relay important information. I’m trying to assign cops to each position and have 2 positions that none of my guys can fill. I think some of them are weapons or items that need to be equipped but I can’t actually remember which symbols are for which weapons and so I’m unable to create a full team. Did a Google search to see if anyone has asked a similar question but didn’t find anything. I was hoping that someone who’s played the game or understands the symbols better than I do can just make a written list of what each role needs so that I know exactly what I need to do to get a full team ready.

The symbols are mainly skills that each cop needs to fill that role on the night of the assault. One symbol is a NFL helmet, this means that the selected cop must have all three ranks of speed to gain the "athlete" perk. When you are in the city map you can left click on the portraits of the cops at the bottom of the screen. This will give the cop's full name, loyalty (if you have a snitch) and on the right is a panel with all available skills and perks; gained skills will be highlighted, unattained skills will be darker. The other symbols for the role requirements are equipment that the cop will need, for example a taser. A cop needs all equipment and skills required to fulfil the role.

One tip for the assault on the neckties is to leave assigning your strike team until the end of the shift on the last day before the assault. If you assign them roles before you will not be able to use them during the day and they will automatically drop any equipment they have on them. So pick your 6 cops to make the tactical assault; make sure you assign them to work for the day of the necktie assault the evening before, give them your choice of equipment at the start of the shift BUT DO NOT ASSIGN THEM THEIR ROLES FOR THE SIEGE UNTIL THE END OF THE WORKING DAY. This will mean that you can use them for the day shift, and that they will still have your chosen equipment on them when they actually go in for the assault. I have made the error of assigning them too early and they do not have any tasers, flashbangs or pepper sprays on them when they attack the circus.

Good luck!

yea aint gonna lie i just quit at that point. game was okay till that and i dont wanna retry 200 times. Slow ass animations and i cant save before moving. i can only do stealth and says do 4 barrels i hit a tri barrel and it count as one. not sure why i cant move bodies to hide my trail or anything so not my cup of tea. Pushing stealth hard yet limiting your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ability to be steatlhy.

6 x Ninja perks with Batons and surrender perks are your friend. Took me about 9 attempts. In all honesty, the game went ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ after then, so I don't know if you will want to revisit it after that point.
