Assault Mission - Gather Intel?

I'm now at -1 days to assault, but I can't see where to gather intel for the assault. Can someone tell me where to gather this intel for the first assault in the game (outside of the tutorial)

It took me ages as well to find that out. You have to press the "gather intel" bar in the setup screen

Oh ♥♥♥♥, thank you. It seems so silly that I missed that now. At least this game let's you go back a few days haha.

I have no idea how to start the assault :P

Sure it does. Just hit load game and you can go back to any day you want. It will also allow you to restart any tactical mission. These are invaluable tools for learning the game. How much you use them is up to you.

I am also having trouble starting the assault mission winter resort. I gather all intel and assigned cops to every role but the game won't let me proceed with the mission.

Edit: assault mission begins automatically at the end of the 3rd day.

You have to either hold down on the 'proceed' button, or it happens on the night the assault is supposed to take place (that's when I did it, haven't checked to see if you can launch it before the final night)
